FAQ
If your question is not answered here please contact me via the contact page
How do bookings work?
I work in focused booking blocks rather than offering ongoing availability.
Each booking block includes a limited number of appointments during focused tattooing weeks. Once a block is full, bookings close and a waitlist opens.
Booking updates are always shared via the website and Instagram.
What days do you tattoo?
I tattoo Tuesday–Saturday during active booking blocks.
Booking block are 3 months for example Jan-March.
The final week of each month is kept free from tattooing and is dedicated to creative work, preparation, and rest.
What are Flash Days?
Flash Days are offered four times a year and feature:
Pre-drawn, theme-led designs
Limited availability
First-come, first-served booking
Flash Days are open to new and returning clients and are announced via Instagram, with early access shared through the mailing list and IG channel.
Do you take deposits?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your appointment once a date is agreed.
Deposits are taken off your final cost and can be transferred to a different date with at least 72 hours’ notice.
Is your studio private?
Yes. Sorry Mum London is a private, appointment-only studio.
All work is carried out one-to-one in a calm, focused environment designed to support unhurried, considered tattooing.
What kind of work do you take on?
My main practice centres around
Larger or ongoing projects
Thoughtful, considered pieces
Work that benefits from continuity and one-to-one collaboration
This way of working allows each piece to be approached with care, time, and attention.
Do you work hourly or by the piece?
I primarily work in full-day sessions, rather than hourly appointments.
This allows enough time for proper design, flow, and execution without rushing the process. Larger projects may be completed over multiple sessions or booking blocks
Do you offer smaller tattoos?
Yes — in a limited and intentional way.
Alongside my main practice, I offer Small Works Days once per month for returning clients. These are dedicated days for smaller, client-led ideas and have a limited number of available slots.
Small Works Days are shared via my mailing list first and on my IG channel.
What is your day rate?
Full-day sessions are £600.
This includes:
Design and preparation time
The tattoo session
Aftercare guidance
Rates are fixed and reflect my experience, working structure, and the time each project requires.
How far in advance do you book?
Booking blocks usually open three months in advance, depending on availability and project type.
Details are always shared via the website and Instagram.
What happens if your books are closed?
When a booking block is full, my books close and a waitlist opens.
Waitlisted clients are contacted first when new booking blocks become available.
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
This way of working is best suited to clients who:
Value thoughtful, well-paced work
Are comfortable booking full-day sessions
Appreciate creative collaboration
Are happy to wait for the right timing
If that feels aligned, you’re very welcome to enquire.
